Today is Super Bowl LIX, which to be honest, doesn’t affect me the way it does most people. I’m not a huge football fan but some of my friends are, so hey, let’s have a party! That does mean today is cleaning day too, which I find rather therapeutic.
We’re inviting some of our closest friends to the party, and my mom is putting together a pretty nice spread! Among our guests will be my friends Maddy, Noah, Dawson, and Emma, whom I met a few years back at my old school. We are like family, and we’ve been through a lot together. The most exciting addition to the mix is my amazing friend Mikka, who is like my twin. We have the same interests, same energy, and we both love hanging out together and just talking. We get along great, and we always find something fun and exciting to do.
Today, Emily and I are also volunteering at a senior living home, and we’re doing something with alpacas. I wasn’t given very much information, but that will sure be a fun experience!
Also… my newest book came out today! Read Lucy Star: The Case of the Vanishing Vinyl in paperback today! This book is perfect for ages 8-12. The mystery is exciting and funny with a little bit of 80s music thrown in!
