Hey guys! You may or may not know that I tried out for cheer for my freshman year with my friends, Mikka and Kinley. It was a three-day process, and Mikka and I missed one day for districts (Tuesday was WILD).
Anyway, after the intense tryout process, I’m happy to say, the trio in its entirety will be cheerleaders next fall for football season! Thank you, Emily M. (Emu), for helping me catch up on the cheers I’ve missed and jumps.
Kinley will also be doing Zero Period Choir with me. If you don’t know I love choir, you don’t know me. Shoutout to Mrs. Walchenbach for being the greatest Choir Director EVER! This is great news! If you can, stop by for our concert this Thursday!
I’m looking forward to the upcoming year, but there is a bittersweet feeling in the air as we close of our 8th grade chapter. Looking back, I can see how far I’ve come from the beginning of middle school. This has been the wildest journey! I thank God for every moment and joy I’ve had, and for the experiences that shaped me into the girl I am!
