This year, I made a friend named Claire. She is a Junior, and she is one of the sweetest people I know. She is a huge supporter of mine, and she is excited for next year, when we can be in zero-period choir together.
We were talking about our plans for spring break yesterday over text, and she invited me to dog sit for the choir teacher with her. Out of all of the people she could choose from, she chose me? An eighth grader?
I’m so flattered and happy that she chose me. I love Mrs. W, our choir teacher. She is actually the best teacher I’ve ever had. A couple days ago, she knew I was hungry, so she gave me a bagel and avocado. She is amazing and I love her so much!
Mrs. W recently got a puppy, and she talks about her all the time. The puppy’s name is Gracie. She is adorable, and now I get to meet her!
Next Saturday will be the best day ever. I get to go to Mrs. W’s house and hang out with a puppy and Claire, and we’re going to make cookies and eat guacamole! I’m so excited, and so grateful for Claire. She always tells me she’s praying for me, and she is always looking out for me.
So, thank you Claire, for being such an amazing friend and person. God will do great things with your life.
