I’m back from DC, and I do not feel reset. Let me note, I am not a procrastinator, but this week, I’m putting off EVERYTHING. Yesterday, instead of cleaning my room, I laid on the floor and talked to Emily about cleaning. I googled random facts I probably didn’t need to know the answers to, such as the side effects of holding your breath for too long.

Well, this week, I will be singing a lot. Not only will I have my normal choir and studio schedule, but I will also have a Choir concert on Tuesday, and this Wednesday, the worship team is leading for the first time.

I am so excited! For choir, we all bought matching cowboy hats, and we will all be wearing white dresses. It is going to be adorable. I have a solo, which I’m very excited about. The solo is sort of gospel-style, which is fun but really challenging. There are a ton of riffs, so I’m praying I don’t mess up.

Worship is another thing. With the DC trip, Kinley and I have been missing all of the practices. Have I mentioned I lead the team? Luckily, Elise (on keys) has been taking minutes for us, and sending us email updates. Meghan and Calvin, our tech team, have finished all of the lyric slides for the next two weeks! I’m so blessed to have such an amazing team working together to get things done.

Thank you for your support, and I hope to post again soon!
