After a long day, the first thing I want to do is sit down, fall down, or lie down. Why not fall down in worship?
For the last few days, I have spent my evenings after dinner playing worship on the TV and drinking peppermint tea. If you have troubles, why not bring them to God? After all, He knows exactly what we are going through.
Today, I felt God asking me to do something for a friend, and to talk to somebody. If it had just been me, I wouldn’t have done it. Last night, I was praying, and I was restless, because I felt God tugging on my heart and telling me I had to talk to this person. I almost didn’t.
Worshipping is such a powerful and simple thing we can all do to reconnect with Jesus after a long day of whatever it is we are doing.
I’ve also been going for prayer and Worship walks after dinner. Right before bed, I’ve been journaling (more like word vomiting) about my day into a diary I’ve had for way too many years.
I also have it on my heart to say this: You are not defined by your flaws. You are not defined by your imperfections. You may be struggling with insecurities, but you can bring it to Jesus. Lay it down at the foot of the cross. You are so beautiful. You are perfectly imperfect. If a perfect God made your imperfections, does that make them perfect?
Anyways, I just want you to know that you’ve got this. I’m praying for you.
OMG LIV THAT IS LIKE THE SWEETEST MOST WHOLESOME THING EVER!!!!
