Today, Mikka, Kinley, and I didn’t go to school, because we had a leadership field trip.
First, we drove in the school van to Multnomah Falls, Oregon. We went on a hike to the top of the falls, where we took a class photo before traversing back down the eleven switchbacks.
We were supposed to eat lunch at Sugarpine, but most of us, including Mrs. Johnson, were so hungry that we ate our lunches in the van. We then went to Sugarpine Drive In, where Mikka and Kinley shared a beautiful ice cream bowl, and I had a cup of tomato and chive soup (yes, second lunch). The food was amazing.
After lunch, we went down to the waterfront to pray for people, and while many rejected the offer, some people were super excited and grateful for the prayer.
We drove back to school just as class was letting out, just in time to awkwardly stare at boys before my mom picked all of us up before cheer open gym.
