When we moved to our current house, I wasn’t sure if I wanted the room with the bright pink wall. But the light was so perfect, and the room was just right.
We have a good family friend who has always been right about things, even when I doubted her. She told me she was sure we would move home soon, and she was right. She told me I would surely get the pink room, even when I wanted the room with the bunk beds (Emily’s room now), and she was right! I think it worked out for the best because my mom, using her interior design superpowers, designed me a perfect room, with a happy summery vintage feel (complete with a tiny pink fridge!) while still feeling warm, cozy, and modern.

How is it possible? Contrast some natural greens with the bubblegum pink wall and a natural-face clock, and you get a little haven that feels both fun and organized.
Note: I may get a giant llama’s nose photograph in black-and-white. It’s going to look awesome! Thanks mom! While the room is still a work in progress, I can give you some pictures for inspiration.
