Last night, Emily’s mom Olga flew into town for Emily’s last two weeks. She is so sweet and nice, and although she doesn’t speak English (Emily is our translator), she has been so fun to have around.
Today as a family, we went to Fort Vancouver and learned about the history of the town. Everybody had a really fun time, and we even got handmade nails from the blacksmith.
I had a guitar lesson, so I left early, but Olgz, Mom, and Em went to Salt & Straw to get ice cream. I’m working on my Summer Bucket List, and so far, I’ve completed my first day of summer picture and started my summer series.
I spend a lot of my day texting my track group chat and I even got to call my friend Emma. Today was a great day despite the sadness hanging in the air. I hope to have a karaoke party this summer, make homemade pasta (I’ve done this before, but I didn’t make enough), go on an epic camping trip, throw myself the best birthday party yet, and of course, grow closer to God.
Maybe I can’t sort everything into one list, but my hopes and dreams are there and I’m ready to rock this summer with no regrets!
Lots of love,
Liv
