Hey guys, it has been a really long time since my last post. I’m sorry, I’ve been really, really busy.
This past week was Homecoming week and the theme was Under the Lights, a spin on Tangled! We dressed up for each themed day of spirit week, and of course the week concluded in the Homecoming game and dance. We sadly did not win the game, but I had a great time cheering and helping my friend ask someone to the dance.
On Saturday, all of my friends came over to get ready, which was really fun. Then, most of them left to eat at Olive Garden, but Ellie and Brooklyn stayed and we were joined by Luca, Clive, and Jordan. We each matched our dresses with the boys’ ties, so we had to take awkward pictures. After pictures, we went down to the waterfront to eat dinner, and Luca ate three bowls of pesto pasta (including mine and Clive’s.) I had a really delicious salad and ate most of Ellie’s salad too.
After dinner, we walked around downtown, although Ellie and Brooklyn were in 3-inch heels (ouch!). We took pictures at golden hour and watched a kid fall off a scooter.
My dad drove us to the school for the actual dance, and we rejoined the rest of our friends for a super hype freshman year homecoming.
10/10 experience, probably wouldn’t do it again, those memories can happen only once!
