The DC trip may be over, but the entertainment definitely isn’t. Here’s a recap of the best moments from the first week back! These are my random hilarious moments and fun anecdotes from me!

A little while ago, I had a dream that my best friend, Mikka and this random guy from school, Clive, were selling goat milk moisturizer. Fast forward to the DC trip, and Clive was literally standing next to a rack of goat milk moisturizer in Jamestown. Coincidence? I think not. I took a picture of the stand and DIED laughing.

Today, somehow, I ended up in a Bible class I wasn’t even part of (thanks, Mrs. Esping). Guy named Luca looked confused, and asked, “Wait, are you in this class?” Um. We have absolutely no classes together. Again, died laughing. The class was putting on skits, and I joined a skit about Gabriel telling Mary about the new baby Jesus. I made a “light” out of paper, and followed a boy named Henry (Gabriel) around.

Today, at chapel, we shared our favorite part of the trip and answered some of Mr. Smith’s questions in an attempt to excite future eight graders for DC. Well, let’s just say, I jumped into the spotlight on accident. When Mr. Smith asked us to rate the trip on a scale of one to ten (everybody held up fingers), I screamed “IT WAS AWESOME!” That was… a moment.

Also today, Judah, my seventh-grade friend and fellow singer and dancer, asked if it was safe to put my backpack in the front of my dad’s car. He has a Rivian with a “frunk,” but Judah assumed I was placing my backpack on the engine.

So many more funny moments occurred, but these were the highlights from this week. Let me know if you want this to be a regular thing!
