This world is not perfect. Far from it, in fact. There is so much pain and suffering on this planet, and it is unbearable to think about all of the different problems people are facing right now. The world is full of evil and death.
How do we find light in the darkness? How do we choose joy despite this crazy negative world we live in?
One word: Jesus.
That’s how I get through life with such an optimistic outlook. I rejoice in the Lord. For many people, having childlike faith is confusing and seems distant.
If you aren’t a Christian, let me put it like this:
Imagine somebody loves you very much, like a family member or a close friend. You have hurt this person so much, but their love is so unconditional toward you. You don’t have to fear because they have your back. In your time of suffering they take all of your pain for themselves.
Jesus takes away all of the pain and holds our hand through the suffering.
