Before Track
Good morning! I’m not sore, I got good sleep, and I’m ready to start track with Mikka and some other eighth graders. As far as I can tell, there are just a few of us, so I may strengthen my bonds with some of the people in my grade who I don’t hang out with as much.

As far as track is concerned, I have absolutely no clue what I’m doing, but I’m really excited to try something new. I did cross country in the fall, and I will absolutely not be running long distance. It’s brutal.

Since I was little, I’ve had problems with my ankles and hyperextension. In other words, I’m too flexible and am susceptible to sprains, tears, and twists of every variety. Last year in acro I strained my arm, but I was a base and had to use that arm to support my flyer. A piece of advice: speak up for yourself when you’re in pain, or you will end up hurting yourself more.

So here I go, I guess. With Mikka, the whole thing will be way easier. I’m excited to see what happens, and will keep you posted!

After Track
Good evening! It is now after track, and I don’t have too much to add. I don’t feel like I did anything, but I’m starving. I have a ton of energy, though. We warmed up and sprinted. I guess I’m a sprinter somehow, but I’m not sure why. I’m not very fast. Mikka forgot her sports physical and had to just stand there, which was sad. Isaiah was there, which was fun. We were also joined by Emily (not my sister). It was pretty uneventful to be honest.
