Because of our travel schedule, this is my last non-cruise post for a week or so. I wanted to make a Valentine’s themed post, even though, frankly, the holiday is a little bit strange. Why celebrate love on one day when you can love every day? God commands us to love everybody, so I’m writing this Valentine to the world.
Dear you,
You are an amazing beloved child of God. You are so important. Without you, the world wouldn’t be the same. You are a sweet, kind person who is loved, very, very much. Jesus loves you, and I love you too!
This Valentine’s Day, I don’t have a Valentine. I’ve never had one. Honestly, I don’t need one. This week has been so dramatic at school with proposals and rejections, and I’m glad I can watch from afar with my friends.
So, this year, I’ve decided to list some of the people I love, and why I love them. Hopefully this spreads positivity. I wish I could write a Valentine to every single person I know, but here are just a few.

- Mom: You are so amazing, and I love you so much. You care for me every day and I take you for granted, but I shouldn’t!
- Dad: I love you Deedaleedoo! You are an amazing father, friend, and teacher, and you’ve done everything for me from birth!
- Emily: My sister! You are amazing! We will be sisters forever! In such a short time we have become so close, and I never want us to grow apart, even when you leave.
- Auntie Ruth: You are amazing and I love every moment and occasion we get to celebrate! You gave me my spunk and style!
- Grandma: You are so caring, and you have such a generous heart, and I love you because of you!
- Grandpa: You have always made me laugh and I am so grateful for all of the time we spend together!
- Emma: You are so caring, so kind, and so Emma. We wouldn’t be the same without you in our family, and you are an amazing friend!
- Maddy: Maddy, there is not a bad bone in your body. You are so sweet and I love you so much!
- Dawson: You are the fun, spunky brother I never had, but you also have a side that is so sweet. You are so supportive, and I love you!
- Noah: You are amazing. I’m so glad we are friends. You are so funny, clever, and kind. I can’t imagine my life without you!
- Mikka: I love talking to you and all of the time we spend together! I’m so glad I have you in my life.
- Emelia: You are so caring and funny! You are such a good friend and a huge supporter of everything we do!
- Jemina: You are so funny! You have a huge heart, and you stand up for us. Our table wouldn’t be the same without you.
- Kinley: You are so sweet and you have really good intentions and you are so welcoming to me!
- Sam: Sam, you were so welcoming to me when I switched schools. You are so fun to talk to and such a sweet person!
