Happy April! I know I haven’t posted in a while, but here’s a little high school update right now.
First of all, I just want to congratulate the Knights Sounds Choir. Our concert was on Tuesday and I am so proud of everyone who participated. The choir program is growing and it is so, so good. Thank you, Mrs. Walchenbach for inspiring us every day and leading all of us to becoming the best choir we can be.
Before the concert, I got to spend time with Claire, which was really quite amazing. We got ready together and sang and played piano. There is something so beautiful about music with friends. The highlight of the concert was probably our finale, a beautiful arrangement of “In Christ Alone.” Mrs. Walchenbach did an amazing job directing all of us, grades 5-12. I could not stop smiling the entire time. My vocal health has significantly improved!
I’ve been going to JV soccer games to support my friends. Jordan has been doing amazing this season, and our team is undefeated. I hope we can keep this winning streak up. I’m actually so proud of our school’s athletes, who push themselves to perform their absolute best. Our track team is also doing amazing this season.
Spring break is next week and I am so excited. I need a break from the long, no-break stretch that was March. I plan to spend a ton of time at Camp Blueberry with my friends.
