An interesting thing I do is twice-daily showers. People have told me that this is extremely unhealthy, and I want to clarify: I do not wash my hair twice a day. I shower once when I wake up, and once before bed. No more, no less. My logic for this practice is simple: I like to feel clean all day every day. There is nothing wrong with this as far as I know.
I begin my day with a fresh start. It helps me to have water hit me in the face before I do anything particularly difficult, so within the first few moments of being awake, I turn on the water.
After a long day I like to decompress with a warm (but, not hot) shower before putting on my PJ’s and getting some beauty sleep.
I’m not saying there’s a right or wrong way to configure you shower schedule. My friend only showers when she feels dirty, and she maintains good personal hygiene.
I just wanted to give you a little bit of information about my routine, and I hope this inspires you!
