Well, it’s Saturday, which means yesterday marked a full week of summer for me and my friends. We’ve been on so many adventures. With Olga here for only two weeks before Emily leaves, we are cramming the fun as much as we possibly can. Yesterday we went to Multnomah Falls and some farms in Hood River.
Yesterday Emily announced that she wanted to get her ears pierced, which led to an hour-long discussion about why and how she would get the piercings. My dad is very wary of needles and also thinks ear piercings are unnecessary. Olga on the other hand was sharing the story of how she got her ears pierced, but the German to English translation made it seem like was talking about an insane asylum.
So far, I’ve completed four things from my bucket list, which I think is pretty good progress for the first week.
I think it’s just about time to wake up early for the sunrise, because if I don’t when will I?
