Me Update: Sickness
It’s a Friday and I got a cold! My favorite day of the week I stayed home miserable. I think it’s a good time to tell you about my wonderful Friday electives. Each of these three electives are 2 hours long.
- Sketch comedy writing: We write funny scripts and workshop them as a group. Ever week we are given a theme to work with. We then learn more about comedy writing, and how to make it appealing to the audience.
- Animation: We create several animations on Adobe Animate and learn about physics through art. Lunch bisects this class and for the second half, we add something creative to our animations.
- Improv: I’m a theater kid and I love acting on the spot. We play focus passing games and then create scenes. One of these days we might have a lunch-time show.
