Dog Files: Episode 2
Hi, guys! I heard about some excitement over the dog files! Here is your second episode:
One day at Doggy Daycare, I pulled my friend Maya aside. She was a golden doodle, but we had the same interests. Maya was tech-savvy and could read and write (with her mouth). She always found a way to make little trinkets that solved one problem or another.
Me: Maya, I have a cool idea.
Maya: What?
Me: Well, you know all of the shelter dogs who aren’t as privileged as us should also have an opportunity. And dogs like us should have a retreat. A place to escape.
Maya: And you think we could do that?
Me: No, not alone.
Maya: I’m in. And I know just the dogs to help us!
Enter Binky and Bella. As it turns out, Binky was Maya’s cousin, a poodle mix, and Bella was a Great Dane who lived down the street from our daycare.
Binky had a knack for engineering. He was our first engineer dog. Bella, who was a great digger, became the founding builder.
We all agreed that the outside world was too dangerous to have thousands of dogs free in a new city. Bella had a great idea. Goal: Tunnels.
Your friend,
Blueberry
