Community Service

Hey friends! Blueberry here! So, the other day, I volunteered at the Senior Center through my church. It was so fun, and it made me feel so good to be helping the community. I called out bingo numbers, and I somehow made everyone laugh when I said, “OHHHHHHHHHHHHHH 75.” The community center is designed for older people who don’t have a lot of money. These people may not work because of disabilities.

The very next day, I volunteered through the math center that I tutor at. We went to a local school and hosted a family math night. I got a special shout out because I knew all of the games everyone was playing. Thanks to the employees for teaching me in advance. The kids I teach on Saturday mornings are part of my state’s math competition team. They are all such sweet, hardworking people.

BadgeFEST

I helped Girl Scouts earn math badges at a BadgeFEST event at a local community center. For several hours, my friend, Rocky, the rest of the math team volunteers, and I held fun activities for the Girl Scouts. It was super fun! Your friend, Blueberry
