I had the craziest full circle moment just now. This may not be important or make any sense to anybody but needs to be recorded in history and this is the place.
Yesterday, I was talking to my friend Jordan on the phone and wanted to show him some pictures of a 4-wheeler accident from a while ago. I told the story in chapel last year and finally received the accompanying images. This morning, I was bored and thought I would look through some old documents and found the one about the accident that I used as chapel notes. Time passed and I looked at the date, March 5th, and remembered I made a post about today one year ago. It’s Kinley’s birthday. I knew the day was crazy and busy but didn’t remember why. I just read the post, and oh my goodness I hadn’t realized THAT was the day I told Charlie’s story of selflessness. I hadn’t thought about the accident at all for a very long time, and suddenly all the dates are lining up. In the post, it says we were prepping for our DC trip. March 8th of last year was our 8th grade DC trip, and this year the 8th graders are leaving on THIS Saturday. The reason this is crazy is I just wrote a song for Ms. Kunkle, my 8th grace social studies teacher about the trip and sent it to her.
Last year holds so many memories… It was great.
