Today is my 15th birthday, and after 15 years, I’m finally figuring out who I am. Over the last year, being 14 taught me so much about myself. I began to establish who I am as a person, made lasting friendships, and learned to depend on God for more.
I’m so grateful for all of the people who have shaped me into the girl I am today. Mikks, sweet girl, I love you so much, and I can’t wait until we’re neighbors in Hood River working at the hospital together. Kinley “Banana Girl,” I can’t imagine myself without you, you are such a grounding force in my life, and we have so much fun together, so let’s get cooking on our food website! I love you! Emily, I love you so much Sis. I miss you and can’t wait to see you soon! Emily (Emu), you are such a bright light in my life and bring me so much joy! Thank you for always being there for me. Emma, you are like a big sister to me, and you are just the right level of sugar and spice. Keep dancing, and I can’t wait to see what plans the Lord has for you in your future! Maddy, you make me so happy. You always have this energy and positive attitude, and you are silly but so determined, I love it. Dawson, you’ve been a really important person in my life, my brother in Christ, and a great encouragement. Thank you for that. Noah, you’ve been there through it all, seen me at my worst, and been my friend through it all. Thanks for being the one I can depend on.
Mom and Dad, thank you for making me the girl I am today. I couldn’t have done it without you. Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Ruth, and Auntie Kimmy, thank you for being my loving family for the last 15 years. I love you all very much.
