Today, Kinley and Mikka are coming over for a sleepover. Today is also Prom for Emily. She is going with her friends, and she is having her own sleepover tonight at her friend’s house. I will write this post in a similar style to our Mexico Trip, with timestamped updates.
1:41 PM: Wrote intro, put together sleepover playlist with songs by Gracie Abrams, Benson Boone, and Josiah Queen.
5:08 PM: Mikka and Kinley arrive, and we ate a cheesy red sauce pasta, which Kinley claimed had “way too much fiber.”
7:17 PM: We made a banana cake crumb and chocolate mousse layer dessert. It was delicious and sugar-free, but way too rich. We couldn’t finish eating and we all got stomachaches.
7:55 PM: We watched Girl Meets World, then Just Add Magic on the couch.
8:13 PM: Pink themed photoshoot in the yard. We did full hair and makeup
9:05 PM: We talked about our lives and shared secrets. I can’t tell you, sorry.
9:44 PM: We sat in the basement waiting for a deep conversation to start.
10:08 PM: Started watching a sad movie about a girl with cancer.
12:16 AM: Kinley really wanted to cry, so she watched sad dog videos.
1:02 AM: Talked ourselves to sleep.
8:15 AM: I woke up, Kinley was snoring, but Mikka was up. I took a shower and went back downstairs, and we spend a few minutes looking for our phones.
9:24 AM: Talked about breakfast and watched old videos.
10:09 AM: Enjoyed our feast of French toast made by Kinley and crepes made by me. We all felt ill from excess consumption of artificial sweetener.
10:30 AM: Mikka, Kinley, and I Facetimed a friend for many, many hours. We talked track and music.
12:24 PM: Watched an episode of The Office and some Just Add Magic.
1:29 PM: Made pasta for lunch. Mikka really struggled with the air fryer for the chicken nuggets.
2:00 PM: Mikka and Kinley left for dance rehearsal. Now I’m headed to a tea fundraiser for Emma’s ballet endeavors. I am very sleep deprived.
I really enjoyed our sleepover, and I hope to do it again soon. (But seriously guys, we need to eat better food!)
