Sup yos! Today, I want to share with you my journey with Spark clear aligners and how the process works. I’m excited to say that today, I will be receiving my first set of Spark clear aligners! YAY!
As someone who has always been self-conscious about my teeth, I have considered clear aligners for a while now. My teeth seem to all be parallel to each other and I have no clue why. After researching different options, I decided to try Spark clear aligners because of their affordable price and positive reviews. Also, they only offer Spark in my area.
So, what is the process of getting Spark clear aligners like? Here’s a step-by-step breakdown of what to expect:
Step 1: Consultation and 3D Scan
The first step was to schedule a consultation with a licensed dentist or orthodontist who is a Spark provider. During the consultation, the provider examined my teeth and determined if I was a good candidate for Spark clear aligners. Once they determined that I was, they took a 3D scan of my teeth using a specialized scanner.
Step 2: Custom Treatment Plan
With my 3D scan, Spark’s lab was able to create a custom treatment plan for me that showed how my teeth would gradually shift over time with the aligners.
Step 3: Aligner Fitting
Once my treatment plan was ready, I went back to the Spark provider for my aligner fitting. The provider showed me how to wear and care for the aligners, as well as how to clean my teeth and aligners properly.
Step 4: Treatment
Now, it’s time for the treatment itself! I will be wearing my Spark clear aligners for 22 hours a day, only removing them to eat and brush my teeth. Every few weeks, I will switch to a new set of aligners as my teeth gradually shift into place.
